Scholarships

Flanagan Implement & Service is proud to support the next generation of ag professionals through two annual scholarship opportunities. Students pursuing careers in agriculture-related fields—such as Agronomy, Ag Business, or Precision Agriculture—can apply for our Agriculture-Related Field Scholarship. Those interested in hands-on technical training can apply for the AGCO Service Technician Scholarship, available to students enrolling at Parkland College. Each scholarship requires an application, a recommendation form from an advisor or teacher, and a short interview with our team.

Internships

Flanagan Implement & Service offers paid internships for students looking to gain hands-on experience in the agriculture industry. In partnership with local high schools, vocational programs, and colleges, we provide real-world learning in areas like Precision Ag, Sales, Parts, Marketing, Service, and more. Interns not only build valuable skills but may also qualify for scholarships and full-time employment. To apply, complete the internship application and submit a recommendation form from a teacher or advisor. Then, schedule a 30-minute interview with our team for final consideration.

Precision Farming Specialist & Salesperson (Full Time)

Flanagan, IL

Precision Farming Specialists sell and support advanced ag technology, including GPS systems, yield monitors, and precision planting tools. They are self-motivated, strong communicators, and skilled problem-solvers who work closely with customers and team members to deliver smart farming solutions.

Sales Representative (Part Time / Full Time)

Flanagan, IL

Sales Representatives build strong relationships with customers and team members to promote equipment and services. They are customer-focused, detail-oriented, and excellent communicators who stay informed on industry trends and company offerings while maintaining a professional and positive presence.

Parts Salesperson (Full Time)

Flanagan, IL

Parts Associates support daily parts operations by placing and receiving orders, managing inventory, and processing outbound shipments. Assists customers with parts needs in person, over the phone, and online. Works under the direction of the Parts Manager to ensure accuracy and excellent service.

Intermediate Level Service Technician (Full Time)

Flanagan, IL

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Assemble equipment and perform maintenance with accuracy and efficiency. Maintain a clean workspace, work well with the team, and represent the company professionally.

Senior Level Service Technician (Full Time)

Flanagan, IL

Service Technicians perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagnostics and repairs, as well as equipment assembly for both the company and its customers. They work efficiently and accurately to ensure customer satisfaction and support company success. Technicians are expected to maintain a clean, organized workspace and represent the company with professionalism and teamwork.

Entry Level Service Technician (Full Time)

Flanagan, IL

Service Technicians diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems while assembling and maintaining equipment for customers and the company. They work efficiently to ensure quality service and customer satisfaction, while upholding a clean, organized workspace and representing the company with professionalism and teamwork.

Agriculture Technician Apprentice – Full Time / Part Time

Flanagan, IL

Agriculture Technician Apprentices work alongside experienced technicians to build mechanical skills through hands-on and formal training. They assist with equipment maintenance, inspections, and prep for delivery. Apprentices showing strong potential may qualify for company-sponsored tuition, tools, and books while earning an Associate Degree through Parkland College’s AGCO Service Technician program.

Detailer – Part Time/Full Time

Flanagan, IL

Individuals in this role will be responsible for the general upkeep and cleaning of equipment and maintenance of the facility, including the building and lot. Individuals in this role will maintain a professional appearance and demeanor and provide a high level of customer service on a daily basis.

Bookkeeper: Accounts Payable/Receivable (Full Time)

Flanagan, IL

Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist oversees daily operations of accounts payable and receivable, including vendor record maintenance, invoice processing, payments, and accurate recording of equipment sales. Must demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and maintain strict confidentiality.
