The Service Technician diagnoses and performs standard mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs and assembles equipment for the company and customers. Service Technician’s perform work in an efficient and accurate manner to ensure customer satisfaction and company profitability. Employees are responsible for representing the company in a professional and courteous manner to customers; maintaining their person, shop space, tools, and assigned vehicles in a clean and organized manner; and working as part of a team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities are representative of the work to be performed and may not be all inclusive.
- Assumes essential duties and responsibilities of Entry and Intermediate Level Service Technician
- Works independently on projects and assignments as assigned by the Service Manager
- Serves as a mentor to less experienced Service Technician’s and provides Service Manager with feedback on mentee’s performance
- Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and locate mechanical deficiencies on the most complex issues and on all forms of machinery/equipment
- Determines extent of necessary repairs, including major power-train overhaul needs, prepares orders for required services, creates parts list and sources parts as needed in collaboration with the Service Manager and Part’s Department
- May assign work to Technician’s in Service Manager’s absence
Physical Requirements
- Ability to frequently lift or move 10 to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift or move 75 pounds or more
- Ability to push/pull up to 100 pounds of force
- Ability to operate equipment or other power equipment as necessary
- Ability to climb a ladder and carry an object while climbing
- Frequently bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching with hands and arms
- Generally required to stand for prolonged periods of time
